Start with any mineral based makeup remover
Yep! You read that right! Makeup remover is the secret to safely removing glue from your wig and scalp. Now I know, currently, everyone is using alcohol but think about that. Rubbing alcohol is a really harsh chemical! It is not meant to be used on hair. The elements in alcohol are very drying to your hair and scalp. Which in turn weakens your hair shaft and can cause your hair to fall out.
STOP USING IT!
In this easy step you want to take a soaked pad with make up remover and begin to dampen your edges with the make up remover. Check out this video clip:

On Cleaning Your Lace Wig
Now that you have removed your wig, I suggest that you take a bit more of that make up remover and soak the areas of your lace wig were there is glue before you wash your unit. This will make it super easy to clean your lace wig of glue and not damage your lace wig unit.
